In October 2013, Kiboko, in collaboration with Nakasero Blood Bank and the Indian Association, organized its first-ever blood donation drive, aiming to have a positive impact on lives through safe blood donation.

• We ensured the safety of our donors by following strict protocols and guidelines, maintaining the highest standards throughout the blood donation process.
• The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of safe blood donation and dispel common myths surrounding the process .
• Our employees played a crucial role by actively participating as voluntary donors. They set an inspiring example, encouraging others in the community to join the cause.

Although our first blood donation drive was a standalone event, it laid the foundation for our commitment to safe blood donation. We extend our gratitude to Nakasero Blood Bank, the Indian Association, our donors, and all those who have supported our cause. Together, we can save lives and create a healthier, more compassionate world.

 In April 2012, the Uganda Volunteer Association took the lead in cleaning Nakawa Market with Kiboko Enterprises Ltd. This community-driven effort aimed to make the market cleaner and more appealing.

The highlights of this impactful event were:

In 2019, Kiboko Enterprises Ltd, donated 4 million towards the construction of a 40-bed maternity ward. This aimed to enhance maternal healthcare services and provide a safe and comfortable environment for expectant mothers.

In May 2020, KEL made a significant contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 virus by donating 1000 cartons of Ariel 85g, valued at 80 million, to the Ministry of Health. This aimed to support the ministry’s efforts in combating the pandemic.

In November 2020, an initiative was undertaken to address the concerns and well-being of the girl child. 100 cartons of Always T3 Soft sanitary pads were provided, aiming to support and empower girls.

On October 27th, 2021, KEL made a meaningful donation to Watoto Church’s “Keep a Girl in School” project. Through the donation of 12 cases of Always T3 Soft pads, KEL aimed to support education and empower girls within the church community.

Through a one-year contract (July 2015- July 2016) the Lottery Club of Makinde received vital support from Kiboko Enterprises Ltd.

• Paracetamol was consistently supplied to meet the health needs of the Lottery Club of Makinde.
• Sanitary pads were provided to empower women within the club and promote menstrual hygiene.
• Kiboko Enterprises Ltd. worked closely with the Lottery Club, ensuring efficient procurement and timely delivery of medicine and sanitary pads.

In August 2021, KEL donated rice, posho, and beans to vulnerable communities in Makindye division. This contribution aimed to provide essential sustenance and support to those in need.

The donation was facilitated in collaboration with the Resident City Commissioner (RCC) to ensure effective distribution.

It aimed to nourish and support vulnerable communities in Makindye division, making a meaningful difference in their lives.

In August 2015, Mount Lebanon Christian Centre Cathedral Mukono received a donation of 100 pieces of Ariel powder, totalling 50kg. This donation aimed to enhance the centre’s hygiene and create a more comfortable environment.

The donated Ariel powder played a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and contributing to a healthier environment at the centre.

It provided valuable support to Mount Lebanon Christian Centre Cathedral Mukono. By promoting hygiene and creating a healthier environment, this contribution positively impacted the centre and its members.

In September 2023, Kiboko donated 1 Million Ugandan shillings worth of medicines to Nakawa East Member of Parliament. The primary aim of this donation is to extend a helping hand to vulnerable patients within Nakawa East Constituency. 

Access to healthcare is a basic human right, and it should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances. Unfortunately, many vulnerable individuals often struggle to afford essential medications. Kiboko’s donation aims to ease this burden, ensuring that those facing healthcare challenges receive the support they need to lead healthier lives.

Kiboko Enterprises Limited is pleased to announce our recent donation as on 31st Oct, 2023, of various medicines to the Lions Club International, specifically the Lions Club of Kampala Central. Together with the Lions Club, we aspire to positively impact the lives of over 10,000 individuals by providing essential medications.
